Amy has always been fascinated by the way in which people, information, and systems work together. As a business strategist, Amy understands that it’s this —the process— of business that is critical, yet is it the least understood and most neglected aspect of strategic business decision-making.
As a technology coach with The Empire Builders Group, Amy sees the big picture AND the details — finding connections and developing solutions that elude even the best corporate minds — and then implementing them with ease. From creating and instituting cost savings programs for global Fortune 500 companies, to completely automating a three person 700MM hedge fund. Amy has been the driving force in the success of hundreds of companies, including her own.
Amy helps businesses to navigate technology, information, and people in a sensible, profitable way; she has the know-how and experience to implement change easily and with buy-in.
Never satisfied with “good enough,” Amy teaches all parties how to work with new programs, is generous with her time, is adaptable and flexible, and is a delight to work with, even in the most fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
It’s a skill-set not easily turned off. You’ll find Amy building empires as a consultant, volunteer, speaker, workshop moderator, and writer. She serves SCORE: The Counselors to America’s Small Business at national, district, and chapter levels and is a volunteer mentor to new entrepreneurs.
A charismatic and in-demand speaker, Amy presents to audiences of hundreds at workshops and conferences on topics such as Using Technology to Grow Market Share and Reduce Costs, and Supercharge the Sales Team using Technology, and Amy’s publications address the latest developments and trends in the continuously evolving world of business and technology. Amy loves staying plugged in to the technology industry and to the Philadelphia community.
Amy attended Oxford University (New College) in England and holds a B.A. in Political Science (Nation Building), Summa Cum Laude.
